Group session
The group lessons are for both beginners and advanced students. You can choose from a relaxing 'relax & restore' (yin), an energetic 'easy flow' (vinyasa) and a powerful 'power yoga'. In a group of maximum 11 participants you will be guided through different yoga postures (Asanas). The focus is on breathing, where effort and relaxation alternate. Meditation is a fixed part of the lesson and the environment, music, scent and the use of color take you to deeper layers of your consciousness. The lesson provides balance, peace and flexibility for the body and mind. Both work together meticulously. The lessons are also excellent (preventative) against back, neck, shoulder and hip complaints and mental complaints.

Duo session
Yoga

Taking a duo session with your daughter or son, partner or neighbour is often experienced as a mini-retreat. You will receive my full attention to guide you mentally and physically through the various yoga postures. There is always room for individual adjustments and the session is an ideal introduction for beginners. A tailor-made lesson, after which, as a result of deep relaxation, you will continue the day or end the evening feeling lighter and recharged. Experiencing this flow together brings a deeper connection with yourself and with each other and allows blocked energy to flow again. I would be happy to work together on a personal wish or intention.

Private session
Individual yoga/lifestyle coaching custom made
A tailor-made yoga session is ideal for beginners, but also if you want more depth. There is plenty of time for breathing exercises, meditation and to master the yoga postures. Relaxation, a calm mind and a flexible body are a logical consequence. This makes it easier for you to deal with life and any stressful situations and you learn to deal with your thoughts and stuck beliefs mindfully. Longer courses of lifestyle coaching and trauma processing are interesting for a sustainable result. The techniques you learn can be applied directly in your daily life.

More and more organizations are making time and space for yoga (and meditation) within their company to increase the vitality and productivity of their employees. You can now offer your employees an in-house yoga and meditation instructor, on the day and time that suits them. A selection from your ROI; less absenteeism, higher productivity, stress prevention, resilience to criticism and change and it prevents/reduces RSI complaints. My name is Janna Fassaert. For a long time I considered yoga and meditation as something vague and esoteric. My mantra was: first effort, then relaxation. And through physical and mental effort you reach the end goal. Relaxation often seemed to be absent. Just like the end goal. I ran around the world fast, but always in circles.
The last trip to South Africa, where I grew up, was perhaps the most important. By teaching myself a pure and balanced existence with plant-based nutrition and a routine of meditation, breathing exercises and yoga, a lasting, inner peace grew. As a result, I experienced for the first time in my life a natural collaboration between body, mind and soul. With an immediate positive effect on my environment. Balance! I want to pass on this formula for success. That is why I started to train professionally at the renowned South African institute 'The Yoga Life'.
Do you agree with me that in this cognitive society we need a good physical and mental balance? I am convinced that through meditation, breathwork and movement we can learn to get a clearer picture of our emotions, to manage them and if desired to transform them. This intimate relationship with ourselves and our feelings brings joy. The many fruits that we can then reap from this are, among other things, increased creativity and resilience and a stronger, more balanced immune system.
The art of living, for me, is in creating balance. To dare to balance like an acrobat on that thin wire. To enjoy a carrot with peanut butter together, laughing loudly in a 'happy baby' yoga pose, and at the same time taste the salty tears at the loss of a loved one.
